Remove PDF Pages

Keep the document as it is, minus the pages you name. Useful for stripping a cover sheet, dropping a blank scan, or removing an internal pricing page before a file goes to a client.

How to remove pdf pages

  1. Upload the PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to delete, as single numbers or ranges such as 2, 5-7.
  3. Download the new file, which keeps everything else in its original order.

Removing a page is not redaction

Taking a page out removes that page from the document. It does not scrub information that appears elsewhere - a name in a header, a total repeated in a summary table, or metadata such as the author and the software that produced the file.

For anything genuinely confidential, check the remaining pages and the document properties afterwards. Proper redaction means removing the underlying content, not hiding it.

Checking before you overwrite

The tool generates a new file and leaves your original untouched, so a wrong page number is never destructive. Open the result and confirm the page count before replacing anything.

Removal happens in one pass against the original numbering, so you do not have to compensate for pages disappearing as you go.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The file is opened and rewritten by your browser, so it never leaves your device. That matters for contracts, invoices and anything with personal data in it.

Can I get a removed page back?

Not from the new file, but your original is unchanged on your device. Start again from it.

What if I want to keep only a few pages?

Use Extract PDF pages instead. Naming the handful you want is far quicker than listing everything you do not.
