Why rotating in your reader does not stick
Most PDF readers let you rotate the view, but that is a display setting on your machine. Send the file on and the recipient sees it exactly as before, because the document was never changed.
This tool rewrites the page rotation stored inside the PDF, so the orientation travels with the file.
Rotation is lossless
The page rotation is a property of the page, not a transformation of its contents. Nothing is re-rendered, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution and the file size barely moves.
Rotation is applied to the whole document in one pass. If only some pages are sideways, split them out, rotate, and merge the file back together.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and rewritten by your browser, so it never leaves your device. That matters for contracts, invoices and anything with personal data in it.
Can I rotate just one page?
This applies to every page. For a mixed document, extract the affected pages, rotate them, then merge everything back in order.
Does rotating reduce the quality?
No. It changes a stored orientation value rather than redrawing the page, so nothing is lost.
